Phosphorus – The daily requirement of phosphorus is just 800mg for an adult, as about 80% phosphorus is contained in the bones and teeth. It is vital component of every cell in the body. It helps in maintaining blood pH. Besides it is also essential for producing vital substance like DNA, RNA, and ATP.
Milk, paneer, yeast, dry fruits, soybean, dates, carbohydrates, guava are its sources. Eggs, fish and meat are also other sources of phosphorus.
